Jane & Matthew's Wedding
Saturday, 7 November 2026
Traditional Wedding: 05/11/26, Masaka; Church Wedding: 07/11/26 Our Lady Queen of Nigeria Pro Cathedral Garki; FCT Christian Pilgrims Centre Wuse.
Our Love Story Our story began in 2014, when we first met in school. From that very first encounter, I sensed something genuine and special about Jane, something I couldn’t quite explain at the time. In 2015, our paths crossed again on the same campus, where we worshipped and served in different societies at the St John Paul II Catholic Chaplaincy. As members of the same Drama Unit, we spent more time together, talking, laughing, and gradually becoming good friends. At some point, I gathered the courage to ask her out… and she declined! 😂 But that wasn’t the end of our story... We remained in touch throughout our university years and eventually graduated, each returning to our separate cities, Lagos and Abuja. Over the years, our friendship grew into something deeper. Jane would share her experiences, relationships, dreams, and life’s challenges with me, while I found in her someone I could genuinely confide in. And, of course, I never missed an opportunity to tease her: “I’m going to marry you someday. Please extend my regards to my in-laws.” What she probably considered nothing more than a running joke quietly became a prophecy. Then, in early 2026, we decided to take our relationship to the next level. And here we are today, turning years of friendship, laughter, memories, and an unexpected love story into a beautiful journey we now get to share together. Thank you for being here to celebrate love, friendship, and the beginning of our forever with us.
